Donations

FAWE Ghana is currently in financial crisis, and is urgently seeking funding to continue to improve the lives of Ghanaian girls. The need for funds to continue to operate Nasaba Diaspora Community Senior High School (NDCSHS) is particularly acute. The school has lost its major source of funding, and is struggling to find basic operational funds to pay the salaries of teachers so that students can at least complete the school year. If the school were to close down it is almost certain that the disadvantaged girls who attend it will never obtain a high school education. The teachers have continued teaching without pay out of concern for the students, (despite the fact that they are owed months of back-pay), but it is not a situation that can be expected to continue indefinitely. Sustainable sources of funding for the school are being actively sought, but due to the decline in charitable donations in the present financial climate we are resorting to a public appeal for personal contributions to fill the gap.

We hope to have our online donation service available again soon, but in the meantime donations can be sent in by mail. Checks can be mailed to the address below, made out to FAWE Ghana Chapter. In the memo line please specify which program you would like your donation to support, or leave it blank to contribute to FAWE Ghana's general operating funds. FAWE Ghana Chapter is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization in Ghana, and digital receipts can be emailed upon request.
